Counted thread embroidery requires counting the threads of the fabric and working each stitch over an exact number of threads. You can use even-weave fabric or canvas. The count of these fabric is the number of threads per square inch and this determines the size of the stitches as well as the size of the  finished embroidery. Continue reading →
